The shipping charges mentioned below might change from time to time. The exact amount is calculated automatically by the system and displayed during checkout. By paying the amount, you agree to the quoted delivery charge and total product price. The amounts quoted on this page are only indicative. Since 2019, postage and shipping costs have increased sharply and frequently, so we might have to temporarily increase our charges until the situation stabilises.
 
All orders are sent from Ireland (EU) and include all VAT charges. If you are located in the EU, you will not need to pay any other tax/import/duty charges.  Orders shipping to countries outside of the EU do not include VAT/tax/duty and might be subject to further tax or duty charges depending on the country of delivery. We assume no responsibility for such charges.

IMPORTANT: BEFORE/AFTER SUBMITTING YOUR ORDER

We have lately noticed an increasing number of mistakes in addresses and even names! The address is the MOST important part of your order. If you give us the wrong address you will NOT receive the order and we will NOT issue any refunds.

Therefore:
- Check your details when creating an account and before ordering any beads, etc.
- Correct any spelling mistakes
- Capitalise the letters that need to be capitalised
- Check your house number is correct
- Ensure that the country is correct! It is easy to mistake Malta for Malawi or Switzerland for Swaziland when tapping on a tablet or mobile phone!
- Your mobile phone number is required for orders sent via courier and orders being sent outside of the EU.

If you notice a mistake after you place an order, inform us immediately!! Do not wait!! We only see the details at the time the order is placed and sometimes we post orders within 1 or two hours! We cannot change the address after it has been posted, even if we still haven't marked the order as sent in the system.

 
Shipping time:
 
We keep most items in stock. Unless otherwise stated, all orders are sent within 2 working days (Saturdays and Sundays not included) and are generally delivered within the timeframe below (following dispatch):

Postal deliveries within Ireland and Northern Ireland: 1 - 3 workdays
Postal deliveries to the rest of Europe: between 5 (Germany, Malta, UK, Belgium, Holland...) and 10 workdays (Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Gibraltar...)
Postal deliveries to the rest of the world: up to 30 days, depends on the country (USA/Canada should take between 5 - 12 days)
 
DHL Express to Ireland/Northern Ireland: next day delivery if ordered before 10 a.m.
DHL Express to Europe: 3-4 workdays
DHL Express to the rest of the world: 3-8 workdays

Kolibri also supplies beading components to other countries outside of the EU. We have customers in the UK, USA, Canada, Russia, Australia, New Zealand and many other parts of the world. Please note that every country has its own tax regulations. Your order might be subject to local tax & duty depending on the regulations of your country. We do not collect tax in advance for countries located outside of the EU.



Tax Charges (Outside of the EU)


Customers in countries outside of the European Union, including the UK, might have to pay additional tax/customs charges in accordance with the law in their country. We do not collect VAT, duty and taxes in advance for countries outside of the EU so it is your responsibility to provide the right information (including email address and phone number), through which the customs department in your country of delivery can get in touch with you for payment of duties and taxes. In most cases, your phone number and email address have become a requirement and might show at the back of the envelope we send you.

  

Cancellation and Return Policy  

 
Should there be anything which is not in order, please report it to us and we will try and find a solution/agreement or refund the entire amount on a per-case basis.
 
 
Returns and re-postage to new addresses (post)
 
If you need to return a product, please contact us within 48 hrs after receiving the order. The item/s returned should be in their/its original condition and packed properly to avoid damage in the return process. Items may be returned within 14 days after receiving them. In the packing you should include your original invoice. We will only issue a refund if the item is in re-sellable condition and if we have been notified beforehand about the return. Please be kindly advised that return postage and packing charges will not be refunded.
 
Damaged or missing product claims must also be made within 48 hours of receipt.

For returned undamaged items, we refund the order in full unless:

1. The order is rejected by the customer upon receipt
2. The order is not picked up from the post by the customer and comes back to us as UNCOLLECTED
3. The supplied address is incorrect

In such cases, any refunds will incur a charge equivalent to the total postage amount paid. In case of special offers with free delivery, refunds will incur a charge based on postal charges at the time of the refund. This may not be higher than the total order amount paid by the customer and includes additional costs, such as directly-incurred PayPal charges and packaging material.

Returns by courier
 
If you ordered products via DHL Express and you wish to return them, please send us a message so that we organise a pick-up of the items. You may also return the items well packed via standard post at your own cost. It is important to inform us before sending any orders back!
 
Liability
 
The Irish postal services (An Post) only assume that a package is missing if it is not delivered within 30 days. Since we have no way of tracking and speeding up postal services, we will only offer a full refund of the purchase price or send the order again (if the products are still in stock) if an order is not received within 30 days after the dispatch date. We fully abide with EU consumer protection law which states that you are entitled to a full refund if you don't receive the item within 30 days.
 
A re-delivery attempt to a different address is possible against a charge. No refund will be given if the order fails to arrive within 30 days after the second delivery attempt.
 
This also applies to deliveries via DHL Express.
